What you can learn to make
Ceviche is marinated in a lime juice, with our limes being the most acidic and delicious limes in the world. In addition to adding a fantastic flavor, the citric acid cooks the fish or seafood to perfection! Modern style ceviche, popularized in the 1970s, usually has a very short marinating period. Ceviche is always made to order and the moment, making it the freshest dish on the planet.
Lomo Saltado is prepared by marinating sirloin strips of prime steak in vinegar, soy sauce and secret spices. Then they are stirred fryied with red onions, parsley and tomatoes. The use of both potatoes (which originated in Peru) and rice (which originated in Asia) as starches are typical of the cultural blending that the dish represents.
Pisco Sour is an alcoholic cocktail, considered also a South American classic. The drink's name comes from pisco, which is its base liquor, and the cocktail term sour, in reference to sour citrus juice and sweet components. The Pisco Sour uses Peruvian pisco as the base liquor and adds freshly squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, ice, egg white, and Angostura bitters. To make our flag cocktail!
